3DP STeF presented at BEYOND Expo 2026

We were delighted to participate and present our project at BEYOND Expo 2026, held in Athens from 17–19 June 2026.  

BEYOND is one of the largest technology and innovation exhibitions in Southeast Europe, bringing together more than 300 exhibitors from 11 countries, around 100 startups, technology companies, research organisations, universities, public authorities, and innovation stakeholders.  At the International Hellenic University (IHU) booth, two PhD candidates from the Department of Creative Design & Clothing participated in the exhibition and supported the dissemination of the 3DP STeF project.

Under the supervision of Associate Professor Evridiki Papachristou, Research Member of the project, they presented the project's objectives and expected outcomes, focusing on the use of Additive Manufacturing and 3D Printing technologies in textiles and fashion education.  The project team engaged with visitors from academia, industry, and the innovation sector, providing information about the project's activities and educational objectives. Their participation contributed to increasing the visibility of 3DP STeF and its work on digital skills and sustainability in the textile and fashion sectors.  

During the exhibition, the team was also joined by Professor Konstantinos Diamantaras, Vice-Rector of Internationalisation, Public Affairs and Digital Governance at the International Hellenic University.
